Explanation of fields

Reporter – Is not necessarily a person who created or reported a ticket. A Ticket Admin can create tickets with any user as Reporter or modify Reporter on existing tickets. Reporter is a person who is responsible for testing, returning the ticket to a developer if it needs more work, or closing the ticket if testing is successful.

Owner – a person responsible for implementation / development. Usually tickets are assigned to developers, but can be assigned to testers if no development is required. For example Task tickets.

CC – Users that may be interested in receiving emails regarding ticket updates. This could be a person who is responsible for documentation, or an alternative tester, if required.

Note: Do not add people to the CC field if you are unsure, as this may unnecessarily spam people with emails from Trac.
